Rebellious, us? Never. This whisky cocktail however, has different ideas. The Rebellion cocktail brings together a range of bold flavours that should clash; yet instead they bounce off each other beautifully.
Chivas 18 is our most complex blend with 85 flavour notes, and each ingredient within the Rebellion recipe works in harmony with the award-winning blend. Blood orange juice provides a deeper flavour profile than traditional oranges, while spicy cloves balance the dark bitter notes of the chocolate bitters and sweet vanilla in the vermouth.

It’s easy to make the blood orange twist! Take the fruit and cut a thin slice of the peel 2cm wide starting at the top of the fruit, all the way to the bottom. Cut off the peel only and remove any excess pulp. Squeeze the long strip of peel over the drink, twist and hold for 10 seconds to keep its shape.

Using freshly squeezed blood orange juice ensures a much fresher flavour, as the pre-squeezed variety brings too much sweetness to the drink.
