We’ve honoured this innovation through the Chivas Regal Extra range, introducing casks that previously the most renowned and flavourful wine and spirits around the world for an unrivalled twist of flavour.

This blend is made for adding depth to traditional tequila cocktails. Our versions of the Extra Margarita or the Extra Paloma adds a Scotch touch to infamous Mexican cocktails – and you can blend them into slushies, too!

No, Chivas Regal Extra Tequila Cask Selection* is a blended Scotch whisky. Our expert blending team add a proportion of our Scotch into a barrel that previously held tequila. Rather than creating a flavoured tequila or a tequila Scotch hybrid, this process enhances the smooth flavours already present in our blend.
