On 1 September at the Chivas Regal Arena of Mastery, the two icons will go head-to-head over SE!ZE, a bespoke strategy game created by Charles Leclerc alongside his signature whisky, Chivas Regal 16.
With fans watching live, the two masters will face off in a contest where every move counts, mirroring the precision and craftsmanship behind the latest product, a blend of 16 carefully selected whiskies.
Fans can livestream the head-to-head via Chivas Regal’s YouTube channel from 17:50 CEST on 1 September and submit questions for the chance to have them answered by Charles and Hikaru following the challenge.
The occasion builds on the spirit of challenge that inspired the creation of Chivas Regal 16, with Charles Leclerc now challenging Hikaru Nakamura to explore the shared qualities of strategy, skill and mastery through an unexpected new arena.

A NEW KIND OF GAME

SE!ZE isn’t an evolution of something that already exists. It’s something entirely new. A never-seen-before game of strategy built from the ground up, taking everything Charles loves about gameplay and pushing it further. Fast, strategic, addictive and compelling to play, SE!ZE was designed to be the ultimate expression of the pursuit of mastery.
To bring this vision to life, Charles Leclerc collaborated with Chivas Regal and James Wallis, a renowned games designer. Together, they set out to create a game that spoke to their shared ideas of what true mastery could be.
WHAT’S IN A NAME
SE!ZE means sixteen in French, the same as Charles’ iconic number and the inspiration behind Chivas Regal 16. But there’s a second meaning woven into the name: in SE!ZE, seizing your opponent’s captain is how you win. Two meanings. One name. A perfect fit.
