Created by the Amatuer Mixologist, this Old Fashioned variation uses ghee-washed Chivas 18 to unlock even the deepest of its 85 flavour notes. If you’re looking to elevate your evening drinks and impress guests at your home bar, this is the cocktail for you.

Rocks or Tumbler glass

50 ml	ghee-washed Chivas 18
7.5 ml	triple sec
1 dash	black pepper bitters
1 dash	cardamom bitters
1 drop	orange blossom water
	Garnish with blue tuille

PRO TIP

Use a large block of ice for slower dilution

PREP

Fat wash Chivas 18 with ghee

BUILD & STIR

Build in a mixing glass with ice & stir until chilled

STRAIN

Strain into a rocks glass over ice

GARNISH

Garnish with blue tuille

HOW TO FAT WASH:

To fat wash a spirit, simply combine melted fat (ghee in this case) to a spirit at room temperature. Once it’s infused for at least a couple of hours, place it in the freezer until the fat solidifies and you can seperate fat from spirit. Strain with a cheesecloth and enjoy within a few days.
