ELECTROLYTE HIGHBALL COCKTAIL RECIPE

Highball – advanced – Highball glass

A whisky highball that’s both hydrating and delicious? Yes, it exists. This whisky highball recipe, created by bartender Jason Candid, adds electrolyte-boosting Pocari Sweat Powder to the mix for a modern twist. With aromatic Chivas Mizunara, crisp green apple juice and refreshing soda, the Electrolyte Highball is the perfect summer cocktail.

    Ingredients

  • 1 part Chivas Mizunara
  • 7g Pocari Sweat Powder
  • 2 parts clarified green apple juice
  • 1 splash citric acid solution (1:10 ratio)
  • 2 parts soda water
  • Daisy, to garnish

    How to make it

  1. 1 To make citric acid solution, combine 10g of citric acid powder with 100ml of water and stir until dissolved.
  2. 2 Build all ingredients in a highball glass with ice.
  3. 3 Garnish with daisy.
  4. 4 Serve.

WHISKY COCKTAIL RECIPE TIP

Use large cubes of ice (or one long cube) rather than crushed ice to keep your highball cool without over diluting it.
