Chivas Barley Cocktail Recipe


  • [40] Chivas 12
  • [10] Roasted Barley Syrup
  • [110] Ginger Ale
  • Lemon Wedge

    How to make it

  1. 1 To make Roasted Barley Syrup: roast 50g Barley Pearls on dry pan until fragrant, being careful not to burn. Add 100ml water and 100ml sugar, bring to boil and stir. Allow the liquid to cook before straining out the Barley Pearls and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
  2. 2 Pour 40ml Chivas 12
  3. 3 Add 10ml Roasted Barley Syrup
  4. 4 Fill glass with ice
  5. 5 Top the glass with Soda Water
  6. 6 Stir to mix
  7. 7 Garnish with a lemon wedge
  8. 8 Serve without straw
