Highball – advanced – Highball glass
You may not have thought of marrying banana with whisky, but the two go together beautifully in the Conana Highball. So not to overpower the delicate Chivas Mizunara, subtle banana flavours are brought in by infusing Fino sherry with the fruit, adding a sweet flavour to the traditionally dry sherry.
Rather than adding the infused sherry and other highball ingredients to a glass with soda, this creation by bartender Jason Candid is made by carbonating all the ingredients together. A dehydrated banana chip is the perfect way to finish off this refreshing drink – and is a great post-cocktail snack, too!
