MIDNIGHT REMEDY COCKTAIL RECIPE

Sour - Novice - Tea Cup

The Hot Toddy has been a go-to comfort classic for years and there are plenty of ways to experiment with this classic cocktail. We’ve added Green Chartreuse to the Midnight Remedy, which is created from 130 herbs for a botanical punch. The intense botanicals from this liqueur – which is the only natural green liqueur – replaces the need for steeping the drink in extra herbs and spices, though we’ve added a decorated clove and orange slice for a subtly spiced finish.

    Ingredients

  • [20] Chivas 12
  • [15] Green Chartreuse
  • [10] lemon juice
  • [5] sugar syrup
  • Top with boiling water
  • Orange slice, to garnish
  • Cloves, to garnish

    How to make it

  1. 1 Add all ingredients except garnishes to a teacup.
  2. 2 Top with boiling water.
  3. 3 Decorate orange slice with cloves, then add to drink.
  4. 4 Serve.

WHISKY COCKTAIL RECIPE TIP

Wondering how to make sugar syrup? Simply heat one part sugar with one part water, and simmer together until the sugar has fully dissolved. If you like things extra sweet, use two parts sugar to one part water.
