Aberdeen Flip Chivas Cocktail Recipe

    Ingredients

  • [40] Chivas 18
  • [20] Oloroso sherry
  • {1} whole egg(s)
  • [5] honeyed spice syrup
  • {1} dash(es) Fee Brothers Aztec Chocolate bitters
  • {2} tbsp black cherry jam

    How to make it

  1. 1 Make honeyed spice syrup by bringing 200ml white sugar, 200ml water, 3 tsp honey, 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon, three whole star anise and half a vanilla pod to the boil. Simmer for five minutes. Strain and let cool.
  2. 2 Add all the ingredients into a dry cocktail shaker and shake for 10 seconds.
  3. 3 Add ice to the shaker and shake for a further 10 seconds.
  4. 4 Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  5. 5 Serve.
