Manchester United fans were thrilled to see the club return to Mumbai for the first time since 2018, celebrating with 6,000 likeminded spirits. Bringing legends Denis Irwin and Wes Brown, entertainment and – of course – a viewing party electrified by the stunning 2-0 result, I LOVE UNITED is all about celebrating together.
Having already proven a hit at I LOVE UNITED Shanghai, we brought the Chivas booth to Mumbai to really #RaiseTheGame. As well as range of refreshing Highballs on offer, the Chivas lockers revealed exclusive prizes to be won, plus some on-the-ground football to get involved in. Our local roaming regals Tanvi Shah and Shah Rule took to the ground to report on the action and drop merch to fans, before partying with everyone after the incredible result.
In homage and celebration of the local culture, we partnered with vibrant illustrator Boomranng studio to create a limited-edition football jersey. With a colourful interpretation of the gateway to India, fierce tiger and hands cheering, it captured the essence of local football spirit. Everyone who purchased a Chivas Highball was eligible to win a shirt signed on stage by the legends, as well as a Manchester United shirt signed by all the first-team players.
Before the I LOVE UNITED event even kicked off, we got local fans excited with an exclusive meet-and-greet competition. Two lucky winners got to sit down for dinner, Chivas cocktails and lots of chats with legends Wes Brown and Denis Irwin at Koi bar at the St Regis Hotel Mumbai. Also winning two tickets to the event the following day, it was a weekend to remember.
