Discover Miami with Chivas National Brand Ambassador Alex Thaler.

Game Plan One

Start your day off with an adventure and take off early for a tour of Little Havana. After the tour, you can stop at the world-famous Ball & Chain—a historic venue and restaurant dating back to 1935, featuring live music and DJs seven days and nights a week. The restaurant boasts fabulous Cuban fare for lunch and dinner, and the bar features themed cocktails. Try their delicious specialty cocktail the Havana Regal, a spin on Miami’s signature minty cocktail—the Mojito. Instead of rum, this one’s made with Chivas Regal 12 and fresh sugar cane syrup.

For an amazing lunch with a view, you can head just 15 minutes away, off the grid to the Rusty Pelican on Key Biscayne. You’ll find delicious food and a great view of downtown Miami.

Then for dinner, I would recommend KOMODO. The Peking duck is a specialty, but everything else is just as good. Here you can also treat yourself to a delicious Chivas Regal 25, which will take your meal to another level.

Game Plan Two: South Beach

Start your day off with a walk on the beach! Afterward, make your way to the rooftop of the 1 Hotel South Beach. With a beautiful view and one of the best pools in Miami, they also have an excellent choice of Chivas at the rooftop bar.

For a late lunch, I would suggest the new restaurant Planta, a chic, coastal-inspired plant-based restaurant. Planta's botanical print wallpaper, natural light, and rose gold accents bring a modern and fun atmosphere to life. Then, it’s on to cocktails at The Broken Shaker, where they make an excellent Chivas 18 Penicillin cocktail, all fresh syrups and attention to detail. The Broken Shaker has a beautiful vibe, good chill music, and amazing cocktails.

For nighttime, I’d recommend more cocktails at the Matador Room in the Miami Beach EDITION hotel. You can then work your way to a cool nightclub they have in the basement called... Basement. They also have a bowling alley and ice-skating rink where the DJ plays hits all night, not to mention a great selection of Chivas Regal.
