CHIVAS SONIC HIGHBALL

Fresh - Novice - Highball glass

One of the oldest Scotch whisky classics, having been made since the invention of the two products. The heart of Speyside flavours in Chivas 12 is accentuated, and elevated by the use of carbonated water. Discover the recipe!

    Ingredients

  • [40] Chivas 12
  • Sonic (Half Soda, Half Tonic)
  • Ice cubes
  • Orange peel

    How to make it

  1. 1 Pour 40ml Chivas 12
  2. 2 Fill the glass with ice
  3. 3 Top the glass with Sonic
  4. 4 Garnish with a slice of orange

Where does the Highball come from?

While no one can be sure where the Whisky Highball originated, Japan is known for popularising it. The Whisky Highball is now one of the most popular drinks in the country.

WHISKY COCKTAIL RECIPE TIP

While stirring the Scotch and soda together mixes the drink, make sure to not overmix the highball as this can cause it to lose its fizz.
