Despite what the name suggests, this cocktail is far from being an old-fashioned drink. Using only a few other cocktail ingredients heroes the whisky in this classic cocktail, meaning a top-quality blended Scotch whisky is essential. All of our whiskies are ideal in an Old Fashioned cocktail recipe, but we believe the ultimate blend for an Old Fashioned is Chivas 18, as its one of our more complex blends and this drink lets the whisky shine.

2 dashes	Angostura Bitters
5 ml	Sugar Syrup
	Orange Zest, to garnish

PRO TIP

Using one large block of ice in an Old Fashioned keeps the drink cool while ensuring minimal dilution, as smaller cubed ice increases the dilution. This keeps the classic cocktail tasting stronger for longer

ASSEMBLE

Build all ingredients in a rocks glass and stir together with ice for approximately 20 seconds

REFINE

Add more ice so it’s compact and the glass is full

SERVE

Garnish with orange zest and serve
