Ever since 2014, the Chivas Venture has been funding social entrepreneurs from all over the world, helping them to improve the lives of over 300,000 people in over 40 countries.
This year is no different. Except for one revolutionary change…
Previous finalists of the competition taught us that collaboration is the key to success and winning the right way. That’s why we’ve teamed up with The Next Web (TNW) to host the fourth annual Chivas Venture final in Amsterdam on May 24th, 2018.
So, what is The Next Web?
TNW is Europe’s largest tech festival. It was founded in 2006 by Boris Veldhuijzen van Zanten and Patrick de Laive, two entrepreneurs who were looking for an event to showcase their new startup – but instead decided to create their own. Since then, TNW has been sharing, inventing and advancing tech developments to bring about social change and innovation on a global scale.
Along with finding game-changing startups that use business as a force for good, our aim is to help social entrepreneurs reach as many people as possible. TNW is the perfect platform for this as it brings together 15,000 of the most influential people in tech, along with international investors and media to help our entrepreneurs reach further than ever before.
Our finalists will pitch their ideas in front of our biggest audience yet. And with thousands of eyes on them (plus a Facebook livestream to the rest of the world), the pressure’s on. Deep breath everyone.
We’re excited for our next chapter and the opportunity to explore Amsterdam and everything that TNW Conference has to offer. Bicycles at the ready.
