That original 25-year-old blend became a quintessential symbol of early 20th Century luxury clientele.
PROHIBITION
This new found success was cut short a few years later with prohibition. As bars were shut down from coast to coast, Chivas Regal disappeared.
But not from the hearts of New Yorkers.
In 1938, Chivas Regal made a long-awaited come back, as a 12-year-old blend that we know today.
And the good times rolled again.
