With 350 million people in the world who are colour blind, ColourADD has created a universal code to ensure independence, self-esteem and dignity for those with the condition. The code is made up of simple symbols for primary colours which are then combined to create secondary, tertiary colours and so on. Companies can then pay to use the code on products and services without passing on the cost to the colour blind customer. We have ensured that the licensing is not prohibitively expensive so that companies of all different sizes can use the code.
The inability to distinguish between colour affects 10% of men and 0.5% of women worldwide. The ColorADD code ensures non-discriminatory social inclusion to all those suffering from the condition. We are promoting the implementation of the code in different sectors such as health, education, transport, textiles, toys and more. Our goal is for ColourADD to be used across the globe.
