Treating wastewater to power our future.

I am a mother of four children and I live with my husband. We are from Congo but currently live in Kaloybei refugee camp in Kenya. We don’t have access to wastewater management and are currently using a pit latrine in our garden. If we could treat our wastewater here that would be great. If I can generate biogas and treat the waste that would help us to stop relying on coal or firewood to cook, it would help us to start saving money, as we currently spend $8 a week. We would happily pay for this type of system, because having it would change our lives.
