THE BLEND - FAQs
How do I know my purchase is complete?
You will receive a ticket via email, which will contain a QR code, for entry to the experience on the day you have chosen. If you have not received a ticket within [24 hours] please check your spam folder and contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I change the name on my ticket/ can someone else use a ticket I’ve purchased (in my name)?
We have a record of your purchase in the system, so we can see details of the ticket(s) you have purchased. On the day of each experience all tickets are scanned through an app on arrival and matched up with our sales record for that date. Therefore, your friend(s) will be fine to attend, even without you present, provided they have their valid ticket with them. Please note all attending guests will need to bring their own ID to confirm they are over 18, as well.
Can I buy a voucher for someone else and let them choose their own session?
The option of purchasing an open ticket is not possible. With limited capacity across multiple sessions in different cities every week, sadly this is not something we are currently equipped to offer, so you will need to select a specific venue and session when purchasing the tickets.
Something's come up and I can’t make it to the event. Can I swap my event to a different date?
If you cancel more than 48 hours before the event, we would be happy to organise a refund for the price of your ticket. Please email email@example.com for more details. Unfortunately, if you cancel less than 48 hours before the event, we will not be able to refund the price of your ticket. Please check your ticket when you receive it.
On rare occasions, for reasons beyond our control, events cannot go ahead as planned. In such circumstances, we will endeavour to contact you and rebook you onto an alternative event, or organise a refund.
Can my friend accompany me and attend, without taking part?
Only if they purchase a ticket. Space for the experience is limited and unfortunately the format of it does not allow for extra guests to attend as a guest, if they’re not taking part. Please note this does not apply to accredited medical staff and carers.
Is there a dress code?
No - you're welcome to wear whatever you wish to come to our session although we do recommend you double check whether the host venue may have a different policy.
How long does the experience last?
The experience lasts one hour and we recommend you arrive 30 minutes before your booked session. This will give you plenty of time to find the private room and enjoy a refreshing Chivas Cocktail while you wait for your whisky blending experience to begin. Unfortunately, if you arrive more than 15 minutes after the session start time, it will be at the discretion of the host as to whether you can join the class. This is to avoid disruption and ensure the quality of the experience for all guests.
I can’t find a session or date, can you help?
All available tickets are updated in real-time on our website, so what you see on Chivas the Blend is what we have available at any one time. Dates may be added, or availability change due to cancellations, so it's worth checking the website regularly for updates.
I don’t want to do this anymore. Can I get a refund?
If you cancel more than 48 hours before the event, we would be happy to organise a refund for the price of your ticket. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details. Unfortunately, if you cancel less than 48 hours before the event, we will not be able to refund the price of your ticket.
What else do I need to know?
You do, of course, need to be aged 18 or over to attend the event. Please bring ID with you. The host venue you choose may have its own policies – we recommend you check with them before you purchase a ticket. We and the venue reserve the right to refuse admission to, or eject, any person behaving inappropriately. The payment provider will have its own terms and conditions. Please check these before you complete your purchase.
How do you use my data?
Is there any other legal stuff?
While your contract of purchase is with the venue, Pernod Ricard Winemakers Pty Ltd is promoting the event and will endeavour to deal with your queries. No party will be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, howsoever arising, nor loss of profit, goodwill, revenue nor opportunity. Except in respect of liability that cannot be excluded by law, the maximum aggregate liability for any and all claims shall not exceed the cost of your ticket. Australian law shall govern your purchase and the courts of Australia will have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of all matters relating to your purchase.
