If you think your connected toothbrush and hairbrush are examples of valuable smart technology, think again.

If you ask Nelly Yusupova, founder of Digital Woman and TechSpeak for Entrepreneurs, she says that to be deemed truly “smart,” technology needs have at least “marginal human benefit.”
