Chivas TakesNew York
Fast forward to 1909, Master Blender Charles Howard and Alexander Smith create a 25-year-old blend that would become the world's first luxury whisky.
Pioneering and generously smooth, a perfect tribute to the Chivas Brothers' legacy.
Chivas Regal burst onto the world stage, enchanting New York on its way.
A paragon of great taste that lives on undiminished to this very day.
That original 25-year-old blend became a quintessential symbol of early 20th Century luxury clientele.
This new found success was cut short a few years later with prohibition. As bars were shut down from coast to coast, Chivas Regal disappeared.
But not from the hearts of New Yorkers.
In 1938, Chivas Regal made a long-awaited come back, as a 12-year-old blend that we know today.
And the good times rolled again.
